Ashtin is a licensed master social worker, owner, and director of The Resource Center LA with 10 years of experience in the mental health field.

Ashtin is a native of Zachary, LA, she obtained a bachelor’s in psychology from Grambling State University and an MSW from LSU in Baton Rouge. She has a specialty in school social work and working with children & families. She has worked in various areas of social work that allowed her to find her passion in the field. Ashtin’s love for people motivated her to create a non-profit that supports social services beyond mental health. Ashtin provides supportive employment services to individuals with intellectual disabilities for both teens & adults.

Ashtin is a wife and mom of three, so in her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and engaging in all thing’s fitness & wellness. Ashtin is guided by her faith as a Christian, she upholds the golden rule and believe in treating all people with respect.
